Craft, creativity, productivity and being able to work with our hands is such an important part of what it means to be human.  For many of us, this can become lost amongst the busyness of life and what is deemed to be 'essential'.  For many of our residents and clients, this goes a stage further - it has not been lost but possibly never even discovered.  

 

To make something out of base materials is deeply satisfying and incredibly encouraging. And if that item is of a quality which is high enough to pass on to the general public, for a price, enabling materials to be purchased for continuing projects, the sense of purpose and achievement for the individual is even greater. Between the craft room and wood workshop, we are able to offer a great deal of variety.
